Catherine Owen


Daughter of Robert Michael Owen and Elizabeth Jones. .

Born in Islington, Middlesex in 1855, the eighteenth year of the reign of Queen Victoria.

Assistant Housekeeper


In 1881 working as assistant house keeper in a boarding house in de Beauvoir Road, Islington, run by her elder sister Ellen, recently widowed with four children. Her three younger brother also resided in the house.
