Son of Owain Ap Robert Humphrey and Margred Ferch Morgan. .

Born in 1560, the second year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, and died aged sixty in the seventeenth year of the reign of King James I  He has 42 direct descendants in the family.


When Morgan Humphrey was born in 1560 in Trawsfynydd, Merionethshire, his father, Owain, was 60 and his mother, Elen, was 60. He married Julyen Sherewoode on 22 December 1590 in Plymouth, Devon. They had three children in 12 years. He died in 1620 in Llanllyfni, Caernarvonshire, at the age of 60.
