Owen Michael


Son of Michael Jones and Margaret Ferch Ifan. .

Born in 1754, the twenty-seventh year of the reign of King George II, and died aged eighty-nine in the seventh year of the reign of Queen Victoria  He has 37 direct descendants in the family.


When Owen Michael was born on 11 September 1754 in Llanrug, Caernarvonshire, his father, Michael, was 28 and his mother, Margaret, was 39. He had four sons and three daughters with Catherine Margiad Tomos between 1781 and 1797. He died in April 1844 in Carnarvon, Caernarvonshire, having lived a long life of 89 years.
