Michael Owen


Son of Owen Michael and Catherine Margiad Thomas. .

Born in Llanrug, Caernarvonshire in 1784, the twenty-fourth year of the reign of King George III, and died aged fifty-five in the third year of the reign of Queen Victoria  He has 36 direct descendants in the family.


When Michael Owen was born on 15 August 1784 in Llanrug, Caernarvonshire, his father, Owen, was 29 and his mother, Catherine, was 34. He married Catherine Williams on 20 June 1815 in Llanwnda, Caernarvonshire. They had seven children in 14 years. He died on 29 February 1840 in his hometown at the age of 55.
