BE IT KNOWN that John Morgan Owen of 7 St. Nicolas Road Upper Tooting Surrey died on the ninth day of February 1933 at Saint Thomas’s Home Lambeth Surrey
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date here under written the last Will and testament of the said deceased was approved and registered in the principal probate registry of His Majesty’s High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to invest in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court
Gertrude Ethel Owen of seven Saint Nicolas Road aforesaid widow the relict and Alfred John Morgan Owen of 35 West Side Wandsworth Common Surrey bank official son of deceased and Frederick Sibert Henniker 17 Saint Nicolas Road aforesaid Surveyor the executors stated in the said Will.

I, John Morgan Owen of 7, Saint Nicolas Road Upper Tooting in the county of Surrey hereby revoke all former wills and codicils made by me and declare this my last Will.
[1] I appoint my wife Gertrude Ethel Owen and my son Alfred John Morgan Owen of 35, West side, Wandsworth Common in the said county of Surrey, and Frederick Sibert Henniker of No. 17 Saint Nicolas Road, Upper Tooting, London, S.W. Surveyor (hereinafter called “my trustees”) executors and trustees of this my will.
[2] I give and bequeath to my wife Gertrude Ethel Owen all the furniture goods and or personal effects belonging to me at No. 7 Saint Nicolas Road, aforesaid absolutely.
[3] I give and bequeath to my said son Alfred John Morgan earn my leasehold house and premises situated at and being No. 35, West Side, Wandsworth Common aforesaid.
[4] I devise give and bequeath all the residue of my real and personal estate of whatever nature and wheresoever situate to my trustees upon trust to sell call in and convert into money - subject to clause 5 hereof - all such parts thereof as shall not consist of investments authorised by law for the investment of trust funds and after discharging my debts funeral and testamentary expenses to pay the whole of the income thereof during her life or widower widow and after her death or remarriage which ever shall first happen upon trust as to both capital and income for all my children living at my death in equal shares as tenants in common provided nevertheless that in case any child of mine has died I shall die in my lifetime leaving issue at by death who being male to attain the age of 21 or being female attain that age or previously married such issue shall stand in the place of such child and take “per stirpes” and equally between them if more than one the share of my residuary fund which said deceased child would have taken if he or she had survive me and attain a vested interest.
[5] I declare that my trustees may during the continuance of the trusts hereby created postpone the sale calling in and conversion of my estate for such period as they may in their absolute discretion deem fit and if in their discretion they deem it desirable or advisable in the interest of the residuary legatees they may retain and converted my investments or any part thereof as existing at the time of my decease and or vary the same without being liable to account notwithstanding that such investments may be of a wasting speculative or reversionary nature

BE IT KNOWN that Elizabeth Owen of Ellerslie Hawarden Road Colwyn Bay in the county of Denbigh Widow
died on the 26th the day of November 1908 at Ellerslie aforesaid
And be it further known that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament
of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of His Majesty’s High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid court to
Robert Michael Owen of 62 Fairholt Road Stoke Newington in the county of Middlesex retired merchant John Morgan Owen of 35 West Side Wandsworth Common in the county of Surrey merchant and Cobden Owen of 24 Bridge Avenue Hammersmith in the said county of Middlesex Inspector, Sons of the said deceased the Executors named in the said Will

This is the last Will and testament of me Elizabeth Owen of Ellerslie Hawarden Road Colwyn Bay in the county of Denbigh widow I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions made by me I appoint my sons Robert Michael Owen of “Arvonia” number 62 Fairholt Road Stoke Newington in the county of London gentleman, John Morgan Owen of No. 35 West Side Wandsworth Common London Slate Merchant and Cobden Owen of no. 24 Bridge Avenue Hammersmith London, Inspector for the London County Council to be the executors of this my Will.
I give and devise my freehold messuage or dwelling-house and premises known as “Ellerslie”, Hawarden Road Colwyn Bay aforesaid to my said son Cobden Owen in trust for my daughter Eliza Williams of Ellerslie Hawarden Road Colwyn Bay aforesaid widow during her lifetime and from and after the decease of my said daughter I give and devise the same to the said Cobden Owen for his own use and benefit absolutely
I also give the chest of drawers on the top landing and marble clock and oak sideboard in dining room the hall stand and the portrait in oval frame of my late husband to my said son Cobden Owen I give my grandfather clock and walnut sideboard in drawing room and picture of Haddon Hall in dining room to my said son Robert Michael Owen – – I give my dresser in the kitchen and plates on the same to my son John Morgan Owen I give all the remainder of my furniture and household effects plate plated articles China Glass books pictures and prints in or about or appropriated or belonging to the dwelling house known as Ellerslie aforesaid to my said daughter Eliza Williams absolutely
I give and bequeath all the residue of my real and personal estate over which I have any disposing power and wheresoever situate after payment thereout of all my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts unto and equally amongst my said three sons in witness whereof I have set my hand to this my Will the 16th day of September 1908 - E OWEN – signed by the before named Elizabeth Owen as her last will in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses – – WILL B WATSON Solicitor Moorgate Station Chambers EC – HENRY BRIAN Merchant 4 Lloyds Avenue EC
