We quite expected you would
look in [us] last week but the weather was so very bad
what a winding up for [Wembley Saty] I expect you are
keeping up Guy Fawkes night with the dear children, I
[Comsue her] I used to do the same I thank you again
for the [Jabs] you gave me on my birthday. I am sorry
to say I have my left leg bad now with Rheumatism
I suppose it has come down from my shoulder and back
I can hardly put my foot to the ground today, I
suppose[shall] have the Dr again but dont want to
my shoulder is quite enough at the [time] but this seems
a different sort. I hope [Dr] Joan enjoyed her visit to [Lon’s]
sorry not to have seen more of her I wrote to [Nell]
yesterday it being her birthday. Heard from Bert
[Allm] is in bed with his old Complaint.
